| Series of 48 cards issued by the WILLIAMS CARAMEL Company of Oxford Pennsylvania entitled "FLAGS OF ALL NATIONS" as a insert premium in their Brands of Caramels. This series is designated as E18-A in Burdick's American Card Catalogue. I have not been able to find a date of their issue in any reference guide I have, but I believe they were issued during the 1920 or 30's era. The front of each card features a colorful rendition of the a flag and a background scene that is typical to the nation being featured. The identical images were used by the American Tobacco Company for their T59 Series of Cards. The back has advertising for Williams Caramels. The cards are unnumbered. The card measures 2 5/8 inches by 1 1/2 approximately. | ||
