| These cards were given away as a premium with Mrs. Smiths Home Made Bread in the United States. One was given away with each loaf of bread. I have not been able to find this issue listed in any catalogue I am aware of (ACC, Non Sports Bible, Sports Americana Non Sports ect.). Because of this is I do not know specifically when this series was issued. That being said I do speculate that it was issued in the 1940's era. I am unsure of how many cards are in the series, but according to the back "artistic and education" picture is one of a large series which has been especially imported by us to give away with each loaf). I personally have only ever come across a few of these cards and all of them have been Fish subjects. | ||
