Issued by the Dominion Stores Ltd., of Canada., during 1927. These cards were, "given away every day in consecutive order, beginning Monday May 16 with each loaf of Dominion Stores Tasty Bread", according to the back of the card (this is very similar to the way the American Weber Bread Cards were given away). The series is listed in Burdick's American Card catalogue as DC7 . The cards also suggest that these were issued as a souvenir of the Diamond Jubilee of the Confederation of Canada which places the date of issue at 1927. The card features an image of one of the fathers of confederation (basically the Canadian equivalent to the American Founding Fathers) done in a sepia tone. According to the back there are 34 cards in the series.
