| A series of 30 cards issued by the De Land & Co. of Fairport, N.Y. to advertise their brand of Cap Sheaf Baking Soda. The series is entitled "NATIONAL FLAGS". I have not been able to find this series listed in any guide that I am aware of (A.C.C., Non Sports Bible Sports Americana Non Sports ect.) I have not been able to find a date of issue either, but I speculate they were issued sometime during 1900-1910 era. The front of each card features a colorful rendition of a flag, as well as some information and population stats about the featured country. The back has advertising for the Baking Soda and does mention that there are 30 cards in the series. The cards are numbered on the fronts. The card measures 3 inches by 2 inches approximately. | ||
