| This rare set was issued by the AMERICAN BISCUIT Co. of San Fransisco California, premium with their products. The series is UN-RECORDED in any guide that I am aware of (ACC, Non Sports Bible, Americana Non Sports ect.). I believe that this would go under the Bakery or D card heading if it were to be recorded. The front of each card feature a photographic image of a either Children doing various activities or Scenes from around San Francisco (at least in the couple that I have seen anyway). The cards are numbered on the front, stating that the "Series contains 75 pictures". The bottom mentions that the pictures are "Compliments of the American Biscuit Co. of San Francisco California". The back were issued blank I believe. I am unsure of a date of issue but based on the images I speculate these to have been issued sometime between 1900-1910 era (possibly earlier). | ||
